An ordinary guest
bathroom becomes extraordinary with well-chosen wall and window treatments.
We applied beautiful braided cording wallpaper that is complimented with the
gold braiding on the towels. We added some ebony marble accessories to
provide contrast and pick up on the gray and black tones in the marble
vanity top. We finished the window with a silk roman shade to add a
little glamour and provide for privacy.

The
master bath retreat was hardly a retreat to begin with so after finishing
the surround with travertine stone and a terra cotta mosaic trim we livened
up the space by infusing the bathtub niche with a warm terra cotta wall
color.
A new pendant
chandelier replaced the recessed ceiling light and an iron arch mirror adds
sparkle and depth to create the perfect Sensibly Chic space to soak away
your day!

This downstairs bath is a full bath but since the shower
wasn't being utilized we hid the ordinary white tile behind beautiful
jacquard draperies with a sheer panel between to let light through. We
removed the vanity since storage wasn't necessary and installed a sleek
rectangular pedestal sink. A framed beveled mirror replaced the
built-in wall medicine cabinet while we used a two-coat glazed finish in
rust tones to finish the walls.

For this master bath retreat the client
wanted a spa experience while feeling she was vacationing on her favorite
Hawaiian Island. We outfitted her with a hydro-thermo massaging tub
complete with Chroma-therapy and waterfall faucet. The surround was
done with glass mosaic tiles in colors reminiscent of a sandy beach; shell
mosaic inserts were installed to compliment the tiles. The windows
allowed a clear view of the neighbor which we tempered by having custom
leaded glass windows installed to allow optimum light and privacy. A
welcoming pineapple candelabra and wrought iron accents were added to
complete the spa look. Ahhh!

By giving every surface in this guest bathroom
a facelift, we achieved an elegant update the homeowner wants to move into!
The walls were warmed with a metallic faux finish while the cabinetry and
surrounding casework received a 4-step mahogany transformation of their own.
The granite slab counters are the perfect backdrop for the demilav basin and
contemporary fixtures. The bronze and stone rhomboid backsplash
perfectly accents the richness of the walls with the timeless elegance of
the marble floors.
