In this room we replaced the royal blue carpet with maple engineered wood floors and added a diamond-patterned sisal rug to pull together the seating group. The only unchanged item in this kitchen is the granite countertop. New wood flooring that contrasts dramatically with the newly refinished white kitchen cabinets (refinished not replaced –money saver!). Also, new pendant light fixtures, crown moulding and a rounded glass-top bar area was added for additional seating. Simply chic and fabulous!
