	The glitz and glamour of this new dining room was achieved through many crucial steps. Firstly we removed the mirrored wall in the bar niche, rounded the niche corners, had a custom faux metallic applied to the walls and an ebony finish to the cabinets. We then updated the lighting to include this beautiful linear, crystal chandelier, added crown moulding, a fresh coat of paint and replaced the parquet flooring with this beautiful contemporary etched pattern carpet. The mirrored chest, oval dining room table with beautifully curved upholstered chairs and new china armoire beautifully enhance the glamour of the room and added functionality.

	To soften this dining space and anchor the dining room table, we placed this wonderful, hand-tufted rug which beautifully coordinates with the client’s china in red and green tones. We created custom table runners that coordinate with the seat cushions and goblet-pleat draperies (not shown in picture). The buffet was added for functionality (and beauty of course) and we created a custom floral arrangement to add more color while the circular mirror reflects the adjacent courtyard and adds a little sparkle.

	The bones of this dining room were beautiful – beautiful stone floors and lots of natural sunlight. We simply created a feeling of warmth with a rich cream color on the walls and beautiful burgundy jewel tones in the carpet and the custom drapery panels. The dramatic Italian chandelier and sconces are beautifully reflected in the mirror over the fireplace, which also brings the outside in by reflecting the courtyard window. The silk floral arrangement was created in Little Italy to pull all of the rich colors of the room together. Mangi bene!

	By applying a sunny Venetian plaster to the dining room walls we added warmth and texture. Additionally, we installed crown moulding, rich tapestry drapery panels, a serving buffet to compliment the existing dining room set and some well-chosen accessories to complete the transformation.

	In this dining room we applied two tones of paint to give the walls an aged, old world feel and adorned the soffit ceiling with flexible crown moulding. New wrought iron and crystal sconces were installed in the four rounded corners with an elegant new chandelier that add just the right amount of sparkle. A custom beveled mirror with gilded gold frame reflects the rich, jewel-toned tapestry (not shown on opposite wall) to create a truly pleasing dining experience.

	This clients’ new home looked nothing like the well appointed model so we made her vision of a dream home become reality in this kitchen nook with Italian lighting and two-tone farm-inspired table. The buffet beautifully displays her Tuscan tableware while providing added convenience as a server when needed.
