This outdated kitchen needed a complete remodel so we started by raising the dated ceiling and adding recessed lighting and designed beautifully crafted custom cabinets to enhance the new wood floors. We designed the island with plenty of storage and seating and slightly rearranged a few essentials so the kitchen had optimum flow and ease of use for the client. New stainless steel appliances, including a cabinet-depth refrigerator and Madagascar gold granite slab counters with tumbled stone backsplash complete the transformation.

The inspiration in this
kitchen was the homeowners collection of beautiful Tuscan ceramics.
The lemon theme was carried throughout - the sunny lemon colored Venetian
plaster finish on the hood finished with hand-painted lemon accent tiles, a
backsplash detail with lemons and grapes is surrounded by tumbled
limestone and granite accents. The lighted pot rack over the granite
island illuminates her hand-chosen ceramics beautifully.

This homeowner wanted to
desperately update her kitchen but didn’t want to spend a fortune since she
planned to rent out her home in the near future. To accomplish her design
goals, we kept a similar footprint (no need to move plumbing, etc.) and
expanded her kitchen by giving her two pantries and a beverage center/ wine
bar area for entertaining. Her custom cabinetry was selected to contrast
beautifully with her travertine and wood floors (another money saver as she
will put wood floors throughout when budget permits). We replaced her drop
fluorescent light box with glass pendants and recessed lighting for better
light control. The new granite counters, tumbled tile backsplash and new
stainless steel appliances all make this a dream kitchen without the dream
kitchen price tag!

The client had always disliked the dark granite and hard-to-maintain wood floors in her kitchen. But since the floor plan of the kitchen worked for her family we decided to save some money and leave the cabinetry and update the flooring with stone, replace the granite slab countertops, add a custom backsplash and window treatments to give her the lighter feel she desired. A new coat of paint to tie the whole look together and crown moulding as the crowning-jewel complete this beautiful kitchen design.

This galley kitchen was cramped and outdated
to say the least. We enlarged the kitchen, raised the ceiling and
redesigned the entire kitchen to be more functional. Using a beige
wall color, birch cabinetry and porcelain floors created a lovely space for
cooking and entertaining. The black granite counter tops coupled with the
gourmet stainless steel appliances give the kitchen a state-of-the-art look
the client wanted.

In this kitchen we
fabricated new granite countertops to replace the *galaxy* silestone and
designed a custom backsplash. The seemingly random pattern utilizes tumbled
marble hung on the diagonal, beautiful braided trim and hand-crafted artisan
tiles with a fruit motif for a beautiful focal point any gourmet would find
irresistible.

The beautiful granite
and the sage green in this kitchen make all the difference. The
inspiration for the plaster finish on the kitchen hood was found in the wine
label artwork and creates a dramatic focal point so beauty and function can
peacefully coexist.

The cabinets were in mint condition and had
recently been installed by the previous owner, so rather than tear them out
we applied a four-step faux finish technique to darken them up and make the
door detailing really pop.

From lack luster and
un-functional to Country Cottage Cute-as-Pie! This kitchen not only
reflects the client’s love of Cottage-Chic furnishings, but the
functionality of the kitchen also increased due to the removal of the
obtrusive island and conversion of unused drawer and cabinet space to usable
space. We had the cabinets antiqued an off-white with chocolate glaze,
which muted the modern look of stainless steel appliances. The planked
ceilings and the crown molding give the room the warmth and dimension that
were much needed. Additionally we added plaid valances and draperies and a
whimsical chandelier to complete the transformation – Bon Appétit!
